Job Overview:

As the Director of Business Development—Biotech, you will be responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities within the biotech industry. This role requires a deep understanding of the biotech landscape and clients’ unique challenges, enabling you to build meaningful relationships and drive revenue growth. Your primary objective is to develop a pipeline and meet sales targets through quality, sustainable deals. Success in this role requires you to engage in early-stage discussions, progress leads through the sales pipeline, and ultimately close deals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement acquisition strategies that drive ThinkBio.Ai’s growth in the biotech industry
  • Lead and nurture opportunities from initial discussions through to contract signing, ensuring continuous progression of high-quality leads
  • Establish and strengthen relationships with decision-makers and key stakeholders within target biotech companies
  • Craft and communicate compelling value propositions that align ThinkBio.Ai’s solutions with client needs in biotech
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and client needs to adapt and refine business development strategies continually
  • Maintain a detailed and updated CRM, ensuring all stages of the sales process are diligently recorded and managed

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree; advanced degrees in biotech or related areas are advantageous
  • Industry Experience: Minimum of 10 years of business development experience within the biotech industry, with a proven record of high-value sales and client success
  • Sales Acumen: Demonstrated expertise in handling complex sales processes focusing on strategic, high-value deals.
  • Client Network: Possess the ability to access and influence C-Level executives to convey ThinkBio.AI’s solutions and services
  • Leadership and Communication: Strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and sound business judgment.
  • Sales Strategy: Experience in opportunity qualification, building win strategies, and structuring commercials and solutions to meet client needs.
