Job Summary

Drive revenue growth by selling complex software and AI solutions to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. You will focus on understanding the client’s R&D workflows and providing tailored solutions that address their specific challenges and accelerate their research.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Sales and Business Development:

  • Identify and qualify leads within target biotech and pharma organizations.
  • Conduct in-depth needs assessments to understand client R&D challenges.
  • Present and demonstrate ThinkBio.Ai’s software and AI solutions, highlighting their value proposition.
  • Develop and deliver proposals and negotiate contracts.
  • Achieve or exceed sales quotas.

Technical Expertise:

  • Develop a strong understanding of ThinkBio.Ai’s software and AI platforms.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends in biotech and pharma R&D.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to provide client feedback.
  • Be able to discuss technical aspects of the software with scientists and IT professionals.

Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in R&D, IT, and procurement.
  • Develop relationships with key opinion leaders in the biotech and pharma space.
  • Provide ongoing support and ensure customer satisfaction.

Market Intelligence:

  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends.
  • Provide feedback to marketing and product teams on market needs.
  • Maintain accurate sales records within CRM systems.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in life science (biology, chemistry, etc.), computer science, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.

Experience:

  • Proven track record in software or technology sales, preferably to the biotech or pharma industry.
  • Experience selling complex enterprise solutions.
  • Experience with AI, machine learning, or data analytics is a plus.
  • Experience working with CRM software, such as Salesforce or HubSpot

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of biotech and pharma R&D processes.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to understand and articulate complex technical concepts.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with technical and scientific professionals.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience selling SaaS (Software as a Service) solutions.
  • Existing network of contacts within the biotech and pharma industry.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the life sciences.
