Product Manager – Biotech/Pharma AI Solutions

We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Product Manager to lead the development and management of AI-driven solutions tailored for the biotech and pharmaceutical industries. This role requires a deep understanding of the drug development lifecycle, market dynamics, and the ability to deliver solutions that meet the complex needs of biotech and pharma companies.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for AI-driven decision support systems, LIMS and other tools that assist in drug discovery and development. Ensure alignment with the needs of pharma clients and company goals.
• Conduct comprehensive market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive products. Analyze the competitive landscape to identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation in our products.
• Engage with R&D teams, regulatory affairs, clinical operations, and key stakeholders within pharma companies to understand their challenges and ensure our products address their specific needs.
• Stay informed about the drug development process, including preclinical research, clinical trials and regulatory submissions. Ensure that products are developed in compliance with relevant regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, EMA) and industry guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineering, data science, bioinformatics, and quality assurance.
• Engage with customers and users to gather feedback and insights. Use this information to inform product enhancements.
• Lead the development of go-to-market strategies, including positioning, messaging, and sales enablement materials.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of product management experience, with a focus on biotech, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industries.
• Experience working within a pharmaceutical company in roles such as R&D, clinical operations, regulatory affairs, or bioinformatics is highly desirable.
• Deep knowledge of the biotech and pharmaceutical industries, including regulatory requirements, industry standards, and market dynamics.
• Good understanding of the drug development lifecycle, including preclinical research, clinical trials, and regulatory submissions.
• Proven ability to conduct market research, analyze competitive products, and identify trends that can inform product development and positioning.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive product development from concept to launch.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex scientific concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Molecular Biology, or a related discipline is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience managing products that involve AI-driven tools for drug discovery or computational biology.
• Experience with large-scale data management and analysis in the context of drug development or computational biology.
• A master’s degree is preferred, particularly in a life sciences or a related technical field.
